LAKE LAS VEGAS HISTORY
The land to build the lake was bought in 1967 for what was originally going to be Lake Adair. The lake was never constructed due to the owner going bankrupt. Transcontinental Properties sold the property to Henry Gluck who was the CEO of Caesars World. The lake was then built with 3 billion gallons of water. It took 2 years to build.
